Liberty Impact Community Trust

Liberty incorporates a trust called the "Liberty Impact Community Trust", from which we facilitate most of our community ministries.

We're all about releasing hope and transforming lives, while we give people a hand up, not just a hand out. The words of Benjamin Johnson are a challenge to us as we work through what this looks like "As long as the vulnerable and marginalised are problems to solve rather than friends to know, Aotearoa will always remain divided."

We currently have the following community initiatives operating out of Liberty.

Pataka Kai 

Liberty's Pataka Kai is focussed on providing food for those in need and mitigating food insecurity, recognising that we all need a hand from time to time.

It is set up for people to 'give what they can' and to 'take what they need'.  

Neighbours including local businesses and organisations are welcome to donate.

Stacked Burger Bar

Open 7 days a week Stacked Burger Bar is rapidly becoming a integral part of the Owairaka community.

We love to see people come together and connecting around food. 

Hours are Monday - Thursday 8am-9pm (10pm in summer), Friday 8am-middnight. Saturday 9am-middnight, Sunday 9am-9pm (10pm in summer)

Tasty food, great coffees, and friendly service make Stacked Burger Bar a place you want to keep coming back to.
